Project Description:

This project is about connecting on perm KDB components to Cloud KDB components, resolving some of the technical increased security requirements associated with doing so.

Our team - the team structure will be between 3 - 8 people.

Technologies used - KDB, Q programing language, Java.

Opportunities - full ownership of the project, drive aspect of this delivery autonomously.

Responsibilities

Looking at project to connect on premises kdb components to cloud kdb components, resolving some of the technical and increased security requirements associated with doing so.

Developing software modules and services to be used as building blocks - such as data analytics, statistics services, and monitoring and metrics for both business events and system events.

Tuning and optimizing services and modules for performance and volume.

Designing and implementing data feeds for trades, orders, exchange market data

Developing tools and processes for the automated deployment of services to our globally distributed infrastructure.

Using the applications functional and vector programming language (Q) to analyze and implement business requirements and have the opportunity to work directly with the business quants to iterate and develop functionality
